Sound Healing: How Different Frequencies Can Reduce Stress and Anxiety (and Why I Swear By It)

Have you ever had one of those days where everything feels loud—even the silence? Your to-do list is buzzing in your head, your shoulders are basically earrings from tension, and all you want is to feel… still. That used to be my every day, until I found sound healing.

Now, I know what you're thinking: "Sound healing? Like… singing bowls and tuning forks?" Yes—exactly like that. And before you write it off as just another trendy wellness practice, let me tell you, there’s actual magic (and science!) behind it.


The Science Behind the Sound

Sound healing works on the principle that everything is made of energy—and energy vibrates. Our bodies, our emotions, even our thoughts all have frequencies. When we’re stressed, anxious, or out of alignment, our vibration is, quite literally, out of tune. Enter: healing frequencies.

Certain sounds, like those from crystal singing bowls, gongs, or tuning forks, can actually help bring our nervous system back into balance. These frequencies interact with our brainwaves, guiding us gently into more relaxed, meditative states.

💓 528 Hz – The Love Frequency: This one is often called the miracle tone. It’s known for DNA repair (yep, science backs it!) and restoring inner peace. I use this in almost every session—it’s like bathing in sunshine.

🧠 432 Hz – Natural Harmony: Tuned to the frequency of nature itself, 432 Hz is grounding and soothing. If you’ve ever felt frazzled or overstimulated, this one will bring you right back home to yourself.

😌 852 Hz – Spiritual Order & Awakening: When I’m working with someone going through a spiritual awakening (or just feeling lost), this one connects the dots. It's like a cosmic reminder that everything is unfolding as it should.


My Personal Experience

When I first discovered sound healing, I was skeptical. But I also loved music and knew that all kinds of music resonated with me. I remember lying down in my first sound bath, unsure of what to expect. There was a drum beat that carried me away and within minutes of the bowls chiming in, I felt my chest loosen, my mind quiet down, and my body start to soften. It was like the bowls were playing me, reminding me of who I was and how my life would change.

That experience was so powerful, I started studying sound healing myself. Now, it's part of my everyday life—and I get to share it with others who need that same kind of deep, vibrational reset.
